AAHEP - Membership options
AAHEP - Association for Animals, Horticultural & Equine Practitioners
Student Member
SMAAHEP £60 per year
Currently enrolled on and studying under a course recognised by AAHEP or sponsored by an existing Organisational Member whereby AAHEP has approved ongoing general programme of professional development – whether a structured internal programme, externally provided courses or a mixture of both.
Registered Practitioner
MAAHEP £125 per year
For therapeutic professionals this represents alignment to the conditions of SCoPEd (Column A)* or having completed an AAHEP recognised qualification for all other practitioners.
Accredited Practitioner
MAAHEP (Acc) £145 per year
For those registering with a formal therapeutic title and confirmation of qualification and experience aligning to the definition of SCoPEd (Column B)* or on an equivalent basis for other practitioners.
Also, for those with appropriate practical experience in their field who are providing supervisory or mentoring for other practitioners.
Senior Practitioner
MAAHEP (Snr) £165 per year
For those registering with a formal therapeutic title and confirmation of qualification and experience aligning to the definition of SCoPEd (Column C)* or on an equivalent basis for other practitioners.
Also, for those with appropriate practical experience in their field who are providing supervisory or mentoring for other practitioners, and/or are recognised leaders in their area of practice, or are actively engaged training and developing practitioners.
Retired
MAAHEP (Retired) £50 per year
Anyone who held any of the full memberships above but are no longer active in the field.
Organisational Member
OMAAHEP £250 per year
This Quality Mark is for organisations that have satisfied the requirements for Organisational Membership, demonstrating a commitment to high professional standards and services.
International Member
MAAHEP (Int) £125 per year
This quality mark is designated for professional members resident and practising outside of the United Kingdom who have completed an AAHEP recognised qualification.
* Definition of AAHEP applied educational requirement in line with SCoPEd framework (see pages 11–12)
